About health-e

Health-e is an award-winning news agency that produces news and in-depth analysis for the print and electronic media.

Our particular focus is HIV/AIDS, public health and issues regarding health policy and practice in South Africa. We provide print features for newspapers and magazines, broadcast packages for national and community radio stations and TV documentaries broadcasted on SABC, E-TV and M-Net.

The Atlantic Philanthropies

The work of Health-e is supported by a generous grant from the Atlantic Philanthropies. The purpose of the Atlantic Philanthropies is “to bring about lasting changes in the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people”.
